Mallilennokit ry - finnish scale model association

Mallilennokit ry is a Finnish national association for people interested in RC scale aircrafts. As a national association Mallilennokit ry supports and organizes all national contests and scale modeling related events in Finland. Mallilennokit ry is also an official subcommittee for RC scale aircrafts in Finnish aeronautical association SIL (the page is in Finnish only), which is a member of international aeronautical association FAI. Mallilennokit ry has been founded on 1988, the association has near hundred members all over the Finland.

All operations and activities in Mallilennokit ry are based on voluntary work, the association is lead by a council. The main activities for Mallilennokit ry are being responsible of maintaining and publishing scale aircraft competition rules in Finland and work as an official channel to Finnish aeronautical association SIL and through SIL to international aeromodelling comission CIAM (subcomission of FAI).

In addition to being responsible of competition rules, Mallilennokit ry organizes all kind of scale aircraft related events and training courses for the members. Maintaining and organizing of annual scale aircraft contests in Finland is also a very essential part of Mallilennokit ry work.
